  • Where are faculty and staff vacancy announcements located?
    All LCCC employment opportunities are posted in-house on the bulletin board outside of room AD 132 (Duplicating/Mail Center). Open positions can also be located on the "Openings" page on our web site.
  • How do I apply for a job?

    Clerical, Full-Time Faculty, Maintenance, Custodial, or Administrative Positions

    Candidates applying for clerical, full-time faculty, maintenance, custodial, or administrative positions should submit a cover letter, resume, and three professional references (name and contact information) by:

    Please specify the position that your are applying for in your cover letter. If applying for a full-time faculty position you must also include unofficial copies of undergraduate and graduate transcripts.

    Part-Time Faculty Positions (adjuncts)

  • What credentials or clearances are required?

    Administrative positions may require an Associate degree or higher; clerical positions may require high school diploma or an Associate degree; maintenance and custodial openings require a high school diploma, full-time faculty positions require a Master's degree, Doctorate preferred. Adjunct instructors are required to have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 18 graduate credits in the specific discipline in which they want to teach.

    Effective May 1, 2015, all new employees must provide copies of their background clearances (Act 34 PA Criminal Background, Act 151 PA Child Abuse History, and Act 114 FBI Cogent Fingerprint for the PA Dept of Education) when hired.

  • How long do you keep my resume on file?

    Resumes accepted through the Office of Human Resources will be kept on file for a period of one year.

  • Do I need to fill out an Employment Application?
    You must complete an employment application ONLY if you are scheduled for an interview. 
  • How do I know you received my resume?
    All candidates applying for open vacancies (except adjunct positions) will receive a letter or e-mail message from the Office of Human Resources stating that your resume has been received. Candidates for adjunct positions will receive a post card or an e-mail from the Associate Academic Dean verifying receipt of your resume.
  • What types of benefits are offered to employees?
    A complete, comprehensive benefits package is available to full-time faculty and staff which includes: medical insurance, dental, prescription, vision, vacation, personal choice days, sick days, and tuition waiver.
  • Do you work 12 months a year?
    The hours and number of months per year vary by position.
