Register for Classes

Self-register – Determine which classes you would like to take by doing a Course Search, then register for classes in your myLCCC Student Portal. (Your LCCC acceptance letter contains your student ID, portal log-in and temporary password information.)
 
If your college transcript has not been sent to us prior to your advising appointment, please be sure to bring a copy to your meeting. You may schedule an advising and course registration appointment by contacting the Advising Office at main campus or one of the sites:

Also, you can register for classes at walk-in advising held 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. every Wednesday at main campus. Or, Admissions will also help you schedule an advising appointment. Email admissions@lccc.edu or call 610-799-1575, ext. 1.

Pay for College

Financial Aid (FAFSA) and Payment Plan
All students seeking financial aid must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). (LCCC college code is 006810.)

  • Apply for financial aid as soon as possible; you can apply as early as Oct. 1.
  • If you need to set up a tuition payment plan, contact the Business Office at 610-799-1157 or visit the homepage.
  • Learn more about financial aid at FATV, available in English or Spanish.
 
Deadlines to have your financial aid applied directly to your tuition:
  • Summer Session: March 1
  • Fall Session: May 1
  • Spring Session: Nov. 1

Note: If you do not apply by the deadline, you can still receive financial aid. You will need to pay your tuition in full or set up a payment plan, and your financial aid will reimburse you.

Scholarships
LCCC offers a variety of scholarship opportunities to help fund your education. In order to be considered for majority of LCCC's Foundation Scholarships, you must complete a FAFSA.
 
Payment Due Dates
Summer 2020 semester is due April 1, 2020. Drop for non-payment -- May 6 and July 1, 2020
Fall 2020 semester is due June 3, 2020. Drop for non-payment -- July 22, 2020.

Submit Your Transcript and Take the Placement Test

Transcripts: If you were enrolled at another college and you wish to transfer credits to LCCC, you will need to submit an official transcript from that college. Transcripts can be mailed to:

In addition, the following restrictive programs require both high school AND college official transcripts. Please refer to the program's respective pages for further requirements:

 
Placement Test: Most transfer students are exempt from testingIf you were previously enrolled in a 100 level college English and Math courses and passed with a C grade or higher, you are probably exempted from the reading, writing and math placement test. Determine if you are exempt from the placement testsAlso If you took LCCC's placement test, your scores are valid for two years.

Healthcare Science Majors:
The biology placement test is required for Healthcare Science majors and the Veterinary Technician program unless you were previously enrolled in a 100 level college BIO course and passed with a C grade or higher. 

Science and Engineering Majors:
Students in these majors must take the chemistry and math placement tests unless you were previously enrolled in a 100 level college CHEM and MAT course(s) and passed with a C grade or higher.
