English as a Second Language (ESL) Quickstart
Get a Quick Start to Using English in your Professional Career and Education
A complete English as a Second Language (ESL) pathway is available for students who are English learners. ESL courses offered at intermediate through advanced levels help students improve academic and professional English skills. ESL courses are credit-bearing and are covered by financial aid and/or ESL scholarships for eligible students.
Students who are not yet proficient in academic English should work with an ESL Specialist to take the ESL placement test. To make an appointment to test, students can call the Donley Center in Allentown at 610-799-1260 or the main campus in Schnecksville at 610-799-1504.
Immediate Outcomes: gain the ability to read, write, and speak English for your career and/or education
Extended Pathway: continue to advanced English learning and complete a degree to further your career options
