Discover Digital Photography is designed for the novice photographer with no previous experience with digital cameras. This course will teach you all about digital cameras, from DSLRs to smart phone cameras and what different equipment is used for. You will learn about different display methods for your camera, including sizing, print options, online storage, and how social media factors into digital photography. **NEW PROGRAM OFFERING** Fiber Optic Installer
This Fiber Optic Installation Training Course is designed for those who layout, install or maintain fiber optic cabling systems. It identifies you as a fiber optic installer able to demonstrate a practical knowledge of fiber optic theory, codes, standards, and practices widely accepted in the fiber optics industry. In addition, this training incorporates two days of individual hands-on training validating fiber optic installer skills, including fiber terminations, cable preparations, fusion splicing, OTDR, and optical loss testing. These skills are applicable to all the requirements to safely and competently install, maintain, and test fiber optic cabling systems.

**NEW PROGRAM OFFERING** Electrician Certificate
The 200-Hour Electrician Certificate is an intensive, hands-on workforce training program designed to prepare students for entry-level employment as electrical apprentices in residential, commercial, and light industrial settings. The program aligns with industry standards and is structured so that successful completion may be recognized as related technical instruction hours toward the first year of apprenticeship with the local International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), while also preparing graduates for employment with non-union electrical contractors.
Air Conditioning Fundamentals
Servicing heating and air conditioning systems requires a solid knowledge in the fundamental principles of air conditioning system operation. This 96-hour course provides the background to understand both the theory and function of components used in heating and air conditioning systems. Key topics include: HVAC terminology, refrigeration cycle, system types, compressors, condensers, evaporators, metering device, refrigerant system controls and basic troubleshooting.
- Information on the EPA Section 608 Technician Certification is included to help students prepare for refrigerant handling certification.
- Math calculations are reviewed that are used by technicians, providing students with real-life job skills.
- This course is for new technicians or others in the industry who want a better understanding of air conditioning theory, components, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems.
Includes text and EPA 608 online exam; may qualify for tuition assistance.

Weld I
Weld I introduces students to the basics of Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW or Stick) on carbon steel in the flat position. The 7-week course meets Tuesdays and Thursdays (42 total hours) at Welder Training and Testing Institute (WTTI) in Allentown, PA. Students receive visual feedback on their welds and are expected to attend all sessions; missed classes cannot be made up unless WTTI closes due to weather. The cost is $700 per participant, plus approximately $150 for required safety gear (helmet, jacket, gloves, safety glasses, wire brush, chipping hammer). All -leather work boots, jeans, and cotton top (short or long sleeve) are required as well. Enrollment is rolling, but space must be confirmed by LCCC with WTTI.

Weld II
Weld II builds on the skills learned in Weld I, focusing on Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW or Stick) in out-of-position work, specifically the horizontal position. This 7-week, 42-hour course meets Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Welder Training and Testing Institute (WTTI) in Allentown. The cost is $700 per participant, and equipment from Weld I can be reused. Completion of Weld I is required before enrolling.
