Advanced Manufacturing Technology and Safety

Whether it’s enhancing the skills of the current maintenance technicians or wanting to develop an internal pipeline for the future, we can help put a plan together to meet current and future needs. Success is built upon the e-learning and Hands-On training provided using Allegheny Learning System and Amatrol Equipment. We also can do programs in industrial safety, OSHA, and forklift certification.

Leadership and Supervision Training

Serving the Lehigh and Schuylkill Counties and beyond, we can deliver customized workshops to help in providing an inclusive positive working and learning environment by offering programs for new managers and supervisors to introduce them to key concepts in supervision. We also have more advanced leadership training for the seasoned leader looking to take the next step.  Our two new virtual clases involving today's businesses can be taken at a best time for your business (anywhere between July 1 and December 31st, 2021); connection details emailed to registrants.  Call Maureen at 570-225-7021 for more information or emai mdonovan@lccc.edu.

Managing Virtual Employees:  Virtual employees and teams became the normal, evolving from ad-hoc to critical and fundamental work structures. In fact, it may be the single most important way that companies priortize and coordinate work today.  Virtual employees and teams face different challenges and require different leadership than their more traditional counterparts.  They often span functions, time zones, national borders, languages, disciplines and cultures, all factors that add complexity.  Low engagement can be a serious problem with virtual teams.

Resilience:  Thriving in Disruption:  There are growing concerns that people's mental health and well-being can be impacted when working remotely.  Research shows that always being in the work environment and accessible by technology while working remotely leads to the blurring of work and non-work boundaries.  How you cope with these stressors can affect your well-being, the well-being of the people you care about, your workplace, and your community.  During this time of disruption, it is critical that you recognize what stress looks like, take steps to build your resilience and manage job stress and more importantly, where to go if you need help.
