New/Transfer Student Registration

1. LCCC Application
The first step for all students is to apply to LCCC using our online application.

2. Financial Aid Application (FAFSA) & Scholarships

The next step for all students is to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov if you are seeking financial aid.

  • The LCCC college code number is 006810.
  • It is important to apply for financial aid as soon as possible!
  • If you need to set up a tuition payment plan contact the Business Office at 610-799-1157 or visit their homepage.
  • Everything you need to know about financial aid at FATV in English or Spanish.

Deadlines to have your financial aid applied directly to your tuition:

  • Summer Session: March 1st
  • Fall Session: May 1st
  • Spring Session: November 1st

Note: if you do not apply by the deadline, you can still receive financial aid. But you will need to pay your tuition in full or set up a payment plan and your financial aid will reimburse you.

3. Transcript Submission

All new/transfer students must send an official, unopened copy of your high school or college transcript or a copy of your GED Certificate to:

In addition, the following programs have additional requirements for acceptance. Please see their respective pages for further requirements:

4. Placement Test

Some students may be exempt from testing. Click here to determine if you are exempt from the placement tests.

New and Returning Students:
Placement tests in math, reading, and writing are required, unless you are exempted.

Healthcare Majors:
In addition to the math, reading and writing placement test, students need to take the Biology Placement test as it is required for the Restrictive Programs: Nursing (ADN & LPN), Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA), Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) and Veterinary Technician (Vet Tech) majors.

Science and Engineering Majors:
In addition to the math, reading and writing placement test, students in the Science and Engineering majors must also take the Chemistry Placement test. We strongly encourage students to take the Math Placement test.

5. Online Orientation

An online orientation course is available to you. Once you complete your Placement Test (or if exempted), you will be registered for the online orientation located in your LCCC Student Portal. You will receive an email from your advisor with the orientation information. If you have any questions, please contact Orientation at orientation@lccc.edu.

6. New Cougar Registration

Once you have completed your Placement Test (or if exempted), you can register for the New Cougar Registration. Soon coming....a registration link will be available on Feb. 15, 2019.

**You will not be able to attend the New Cougar Registration if you have not completed the Placement Test requirement.  

 

7. Payment

Payment for Fall 2019 is due by July 10, 2019. If payment arrangement is not made prior to July 24, 2019, your classes will be dropped.
