New Student Registration

1. LCCC Application
The first step for all students is to apply to LCCC using our online system:

2. Financial Aid Application (FAFSA)

The next step for all students is to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov if you are seeking financial aid.

  • The LCCC college code number is 006810.
  • It is important to apply for financial aid as soon as possible!
  • If you need to set up a tuition payment plan contact the Business Office at 610-799-1157 or visit their homepage.

Deadlines to have your financial aid applied directly to your tuition:

  • Summer Session: March 1st
  • Fall Session: May 1st
  • Spring Session: November 1st

Note: if you do not apply by the deadline, you can still receive financial aid. But you will need to pay your tuition in full or set up a payment plan and your financial aid will reimburse you.

3. Transcript Submission

All new students must send an official, unopened copy of your high school or college transcripts or a copy of your GED Certificate to:

In addition, the following programs have additional requirements for acceptance. Please see their respective pages for further requirements:

4. Placement Test

Some students may be exempt from testing. Click here to determine if you are exempt from the placement tests.

New and Returning Students:
Placement tests in math, reading, and writing are required, unless you are exempt.

Allied Health Majors:
The Biology Placement test is required for Allied Health Majors and Vet Tech majors.

Science and Engineering Majors:
Students in these majors must take the Chemistry Placement test.

5. Course Planning

The course planner is a short form that will help us put together a schedule that fits your needs and interests. New students who have graduated high school more than 3 years ago do not need to complete a course planning form and instead should contact our advising office to make a personal appointment to register for your classes, after your placement testing has been completed.

6. Register for Orientation

Register for New Student Orientation after you have completed the online Course Planning Form.

The Orientation Program for New Students is required for all first time students who are recent high school graduates with no previous college experience. If you are a new student who has graduated more than three years ago, contact our advising office to schedule a personal appointment to schedule your classes after your placement testing is completed.

7. Payment

Payment Due: At the time of registration.
