New/Transfer Student Registration

1. LCCC Application
The first step for all students is to apply to LCCC using our online system:

2. Financial Aid Application (FAFSA) & Scholarships

The next step for all students is to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov if you are seeking financial aid.

  • The LCCC college code number is 006810.
  • It is important to apply for financial aid as soon as possible!
  • If you need to set up a tuition payment plan contact the Business Office at 610-799-1157 or visit their homepage.
  • Everything you need to know about financial aid at FATV in English or Spanish.

Deadlines to have your financial aid applied directly to your tuition:

  • Summer Session: March 1st
  • Fall Session: May 1st
  • Spring Session: November 1st

Note: if you do not apply by the deadline, you can still receive financial aid. But you will need to pay your tuition in full or set up a payment plan and your financial aid will reimburse you.

3. Transcript Submission

All new/transfer students must send an official, unopened copy of your high school or college transcript or a copy of your GED Certificate to:

Electronic college transcript is acceptable. They should be emailed to registrar@mymail.lccc.edu.

In addition, the following programs have additional requirements for acceptance. Please see their respective pages for further requirements:

4. Placement Test

Some students may be exempt from testing. Click here to determine if you are exempt from the placement tests.

New and Returning Students:
Placement tests in math, reading, and writing are required, unless you are exempt.

Allied Health Majors:
The Biology Placement test is required for Allied Health Majors and Vet Tech majors.

Science and Engineering Majors:
Students in these majors must take the Chemistry Placement test.

5. Course Planning

New Students - Recent high school graduates 2017 and 2018
Please schedule an appointment with our advising office at 610-799-1137 or email adviseme@lccc.edu. We look forward to seeing you at our campus soon. 

Transfer and Adult Learner Students 
Students who have graduated high school more than 3 years ago do not need to complete a course planning form and instead should contact our advising office to make a personal appointment to register for your classes, after your placement testing has been completed.

6. Register for Orientation

New Students - Recent high school graduates 2017 & 2018
An online orientation course is available to you. Once you complete your Placement Testing (or exemptions) and your Course Planner you will be registered for the online Orientation. You will receive an email from your Advisor with the Orientation information. If you have any questions please contact Orientation at orientation@lccc.edu.

Transfer and Adult Learner Students
If you are new to LCCC, an online orientation course is available to you.  The orientation is not applicable to those transferring from another institution. Once you've been registered, you will have access to your online Orientation in your LCCC student portal. You will receive an email from your Advisor with the Orientation information. If you have any questions please contact Orientation at orientation@lccc.edu.

7. Payment

Payment for Fall 2018 is due by July 11, 2018.
