What is an Associate Degree in Computer Specialist – Programming Concentration?

Graduates will be prepared to program applications using a variety of computer languages. These applications will be developed for the desktop, the Internet, and mobile devices. In addition, databases will be used to implement applications requiring persistent data. Project management and best practices are used for all projects.

Programming Concentration Courses

Your programing concentration courses will prepare you for success in either a future career or when pursuing a four-year degree. In this program, you’ll take classes like:

  • Introduction to Computer Science-Structured Programming C++
  • Client-Side Scripting I
  • Java I
  • Object-Oriented Programming with Visual Basic.Net
  • Unix Server-Side Scripting
