Entrepreneurship & Innovation Boot Camp

Join Lehigh Carbon Community College's Entrepreneur Club for their Spring 2019 Entrepreneurship and Innovation Boot Camp as guest speakers and SCORE volunteers help students with idea creation, business plan development and entreprneur mindset. SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to educating entrepreneurs and helping small businesses start, grow, and succeed nationwide. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and has been mentoring small business owners for more than forty years.

This two day event, held Friday, March 29, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday, March 30, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., will take place at LCCC's Schnecksville campus in the Alumni Center Rooms 107/108, in the Rothrock Library.

Idea Pitch Challenge

April 12 - 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Join Lehigh Carbon Community College's Entrepreneur Club on Friday, April 12, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., at the Rothrock Library, main campus, for the Idea Pitch Challenge. Students will have an opportunity to participate in a "Shark Tank"-style event, where individuals have ten minutes to pitch a business idea to a panel of judges, followed by a five-minute Q&A.

Winners receive cash prizes and gift cards, and the first place team will have the chance to win $2,000 at the Lehigh Valley Pitch Summit, hosted by Ben Franklin TechVentures.

LVHack Event

Sponsored and organized by LVTech at offsite location

Students will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative learning environment, choose a team, and come up with an idea that will push them to the limit. They will then have 54 hours to design, code and hack to build top project idea that will be  presented and judged. Food and prizes will be available. (Students do not need to know how to code.)
