Schnecksville, Pa., August 27, 2026 – Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) has announced that its Center for Workforce Development is officially launching a new Phlebotomy Comprehensive program at the Donley Center location in downtown Allentown this fall. The accelerated program is now live on the fall schedule and open for public enrollment.
Running from October 5, 2026, to December 3, 2026, the fast-track program offers hands-on clinical training designed to prepare students rapidly for high-demand entry-level roles in healthcare. Classes will meet Monday through Thursday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Donley Center.
“We are thrilled to expand our healthcare training offerings directly to the Allentown community through our Donley Center location,” said Michelle Isabelle McLeod from the LCCC Center for Workforce Development. “Phlebotomists play a crucial, frontline role in medical diagnostics and patient care. This accelerated course gives students a direct path to gain vital clinical skills and enter the workforce quickly.”
Phlebotomists are specialized healthcare professionals trained to draw blood for medical testing, transfusions, donations, and research. Graduates can pursue versatile career opportunities across hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, community health center, blood banks, physicians’ offices, and long-term care facilities.
