Be in the Know
Notifications about campus closures, delays and emergencies are primarily made through the college’s automated alert system, e2Campus. We encourage you to sign up for alerts.
In the event of a weather delay or closure, a message will be sent via text or phone to the contact information you have provided. You will also receive an email to your LCCC email address.
When a snow delay or closure occurs, LCCC makes every effort get a notification out by 6 a.m. or as soon as possible, depending on the timing of the weather circumstances.
In addition to e2Campus Alert, you can also find out about an LCCC delay or closure through the following methods, which are listed in order of reliability:
Visit www.lccc.edu, and see a notification on the home page
Log on to the LCCC student or staff portal
Check the LCCC Facebook page and Twitter
Check your LCCC email account
Call the college’s main number at 610-799-2121
Listen/watch the local news (radio, TV, newspapers online)
It is a good idea to check several sources, because occasionally texts and emails are delayed, depending on individual plans or technological issues.
Bottom line: you make the final decision on whether or not to travel in inclement weather. Be cautious on the road and always use your own best judgment.
If the college opens late, classes will be on a compressed schedule. To view the compressed schedule of classes, go here.
