BTG Counseling and Educational Services
Psychology majors: You know you want to help people, but do you know how far your impact can go? This shadowing experience offers an exclusive opportunity to observe and learn from a mental health entrepreneur who blends a heart for humanity with business. This isn’t your average office visit. You’ll spend the morning exploring the entrepreneurial side of wellness, learning how creative thinkers are making mental health support more accessible, modern, and effective. Whether you want to launch a private group practice or explore how to turn your passion for mental health into a scalable career, this experience will expand your thinking about the possibilities.

Netizen Corporation, a cybersecurity and specialized IT solutions provider based in Allentown, PA, . The program is designed to bridge the gap between classroom instruction and professional experience in the cybersecurity field. Focus Areas: Participants gain firsthand experience in cybersecurity, including working within the company’s Security Operations Center (SOC).

Pennsylvania State Police|Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement
This opportunity will provide you with first-hand exposure to the work of officers in this specialized division, focusing on the enforcement of liquor laws, regulatory compliance, and public safety. It’s a great chance to gain valuable insights into the field, network with professionals, and explore potential career paths within law enforcement.
Dates and hours:
- July 14, 2026 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- July 15, 2026 12 to 4 p.m.
Observe working technicians and technologists as they use various equipment and methods to produce laboratory test results. Shadowing exposes students to clinical environments in the areas of microbiology, molecular biology, hematology, chemistry, immunology, cytology, histology, and pathology.
Student shadowing requirements:
Copy of Hepatitis B vaccination documentation
Signed HNL Lab Medicine confidentiality form – this form will be emailed to you along with confirmation of your shadowing date.

Good Shepherd Rehabilitation-Student Observation Program: OT, PT, and SLP observation opportunities are held at Good Shepherd at select sites and in a variety of settings to facilitate safe and optimal learning experiences for our students, patients, and staff.
Observation experiences are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis, and all required documents need to be submitted before we are able to allow you to schedule observation shifts. Dates: Based on Availability
Interested in how the electric power grid is designed and protected? This job shadowing opportunity provides a firsthand look at how electrical drafters and designers support engineers working on utility power system infrastructure.
Hive Power Engineering LLC is a power-system engineering consulting firm that supports electric utilities and renewable energy developers across the United States. Students will observe how engineers and designers develop technical drawings used for electrical substations, relay protection systems, and power system control equipment.
Participants will see how drafters and designers create schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts used for protection and control systems. Students will also learn how protective relays detect electrical faults and help isolate problems on the grid to prevent equipment damage and outages.
This opportunity is ideal for students interested in Electrical Drafting and Design (AAS), Electrical Engineering Technology, or CAD design careers supporting power utility infrastructure.
