The H.O.P.E. Center is a resource space open to all. Students are welcome to stop by to utilize the center as a study space, a lounge area or a resource hub. The center also hosts a variety of programming throughout the academic year, from student organization meetings, to unique classroom experiences, to guest speakers and more. Offices and Resources

The H.O.P.E. Center houses several different staff and administrators who can help you get involved on campus, stay on track with your learning or engage yourself in the campus community. Click below to learn about each department located in the center.

With a host of resources relating to public health, community engagement, student welfare, food insecurity and more available under our up-to-date bulletin board of activities, there’s much for you to find in the H.O.P.E. Center to help guide you toward success during your time at LCCC.

Facilities and Features

Both sides of the H.O.P.E. Center include large, easy to use screens for students and faculty to utilize for presentations, workshops, film showings and more. Students can help themselves to complimentary goodies, snacks and games available on and in the shelving units. There are many tables and chairs that can accommodate entire classes or small groups for a variety of purposes.Students in HOPE Center

Three group rooms are also located in the H.O.P.E. Center; they are available for all to use at any time. Each room is equipped with a Zoom-friendly computer, tables and chairs for group meetings or silent study sessions and shelving space for student organizations to store supplies.

All screens in the H.O.P.E. Center are compatible with most gaming consoles for student use of their personal devices.

Policies and Procedures

The following policies are in place for any student, staff member, faculty member or administrator who wishes to utilize the H.O.P.E. Center:

  • Everyone is welcome in the H.O.P.E. Center and will be treated with respect and dignity.
  • Students are expected to stay in compliance with the LCCC Code of Student Conduct.
  • While the H.O.P.E. Center is a social space, it is also a work space for staff, and they reserve the right to request a lower volume in the center for focus.
  • Those who visit the H.O.P.E. Center will leave it as they found it and clean up after themselves.
  • Individuals or groups wishing to utilize the H.O.P.E. Center for hosting events must reserve the space well in advance of the event (see “Contact Us” section below for more information).
