All new first time in college students are required to participate in a New Student Orientation session. There is a selection of dates and times for you to choose from.

Orientation is a remote one-hour group conference call through Zoom where you will learn about important college information, discuss class schedules, and learn how to use your myLCCC account, student email, and Canvas.

Orientation is interactive and requires the participant to have access to email and the school portal, so please make every effort to join the Zoom meeting from a laptop or desktop, NOT a phone. While the Zoom meeting itself can be joined from a cell phone, other systems covered during the orientation are not accessible from a phone. If you need access to a computer, all LCCC campuses have library facilities and computer labs available for student use. Please email for more information on coming to campus to use a computer.

During orientation, your preferences for classes will be collected for an advisor to make your schedule. Schedules will be sent to your LCCC email by an advisor within one week after your orientation. Once your schedule is created, tuition and fees will be billed to your account. If you choose not to attend LCCC after a schedule has been created, you must officially drop your courses according to the College’s refund policy. If you do not provide the necessary information to make your schedule, you will not receive a class schedule. If you have any questions, please contact our staff at

Accessing your New Student Orientation
Your orientation Zoom invitation is sent to your LCCC email account. Your LCCC email account can be found in your myLCCC student portal under the Launchpad.
