Free Spring Events to Explore Education and Career Paths
Schnecksville, Pa., March 30, 2026 – Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) invites the community to “Start Here and Go Anywhere” this spring with a series of free events designed to bridge the gap between education and employment. Whether you are a high school student planning your future or a professional seeking a career pivot, LCCC is hosting a comprehensive Open House on April 8 and a multi-campus Career Fair series throughout the month of April.
Explore Your Future: Spring Open House
On Wednesday, April 8, from 5 to 7 p.m., LCCC will open its doors at the Schnecksville (Main) Campus for its annual Spring Open House. Held in the Community Services Center, this event serves as a one-stop shop for prospective students of all ages and their families.
Attendees can expect a hands-on look at how LCCC paves the way for rewarding careers or seamless transfers to four-year universities. Highlights include:
- Expert Guidance: Meet with faculty coordinators, academic advisors, and financial aid representatives.
- Specialized Presentations: Learn about the Honors program, Nursing, the SEED (Success, Engagement, Education, Determination) program, and scholarship opportunities.
- Campus Experience: Take a guided tour to see the facilities and learn about vibrant campus life.
- Process Support: Get direct answers on admissions, placement testing, and transfer options.
Registration: Interested students are encouraged to register on the admissions website.
Launch Your Career: 2026 Career Fair Series
LCCC is also proud to host its Spring 2026 Career Fair series, connecting students, alumni, and the general public with top regional employers. These Fairs are free to attend and offer face-to-face networking opportunities for full-time, part-time, internship, and volunteer roles.
The series will visit three counties to ensure maximum community access:
- Allentown (Donley) Fair: Wednesday, April 1 | 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. (Donley Center, Lower Level)
- Schnecksville (Main) Fair: Thursday, April 16 | 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (CSC Ballroom)
- Tamaqua (Morgan) Fair: Thursday, April 30 | 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. (Morgan Center Lobby)
