Taking Classes In the High School

If you are taking a dual enrollment course at your high school, meet with your counselor to select a course that will work with your schedule. They will have the registration instructions and deadline for your high school.

Ask your counselor to submit your transcript and any test scores that you have (PSAT/SAT/ACT/AP) prior to course registration. This information may be used to exempt dual enrollment students from courses that require placement testing.

After meeting with your counselor and meeting any testing requirements, you can submit the online Add/Drop form to register (sign-up) for the class. You will need to enter your LCCC credentials to access the form.

IMPORTANT: You will not receive LCCC credit without completing the form by the registration deadline.

Please allow 1-2 business days for processing. You will receive a confirmation message at your LCCC student email account when completed. At that time, you can pay online or sign up for the payment plan in the myLCCC portal.

Note: Some high school DE sections do not use Textbook+. Removing the Textbook+ fee is a manual process. Please allow 7-10 business days after registration to remove the fee from the student’s bill.
