Established in 1966, Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) is a comprehensive, two-year, publicly supported community college.

The college is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools and is sponsored by all nine school districts in Lehigh County and four of the five school districts in Carbon County. The mission of LCCC is "to serve the community by providing high quality education that is affordable and accessible."
