LCCC Welcomes Students for the Spring Semester

Welcome, students! The Lehigh Carbon Community College community is happy to be starting a new semester, so here are a few things to help you during your first week on campus:


If you need advising services, Academic Advising is seeing students on a drop-in basis only through Thursday, Jan. 19. The drop-in hours are:
  • Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. - 7 p.m.
  • Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Extended Hours for Student Services

LCCC has extended office hours for Admissions, Student Registration, Financial Aid and the Business Office from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday until Jan. 19.

Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

LCCC will offer a tribute to the life and teaching of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday, Jan. 16, with the presentation of "King's Dream." The performance will be at 6 p.m. in the Community Services Center at the main campus in Schnecksville.

Dr. King received the Nobel Peace Prize and led African Americans in the struggle for social change and racial equality for all people in the 1960s. His life will be documented in this presentation by Key Arts Productions from Philadelphia, including film footage, insightful commentary and live musical performances that capture the spirit of the civil rights movement. 

This program, which celebrates unity, diversity and peace, is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Gene Eden at or 610-799-1146.


The LCCC Bookstores are here to help students with all their textbooks and course materials. The bookstores offer used books, textbook rentals, textbook (and graphing calculator) buyback and price matching every day. Students can visit either LCCC Bookstore location or shop online at, including using financial aid.

Need IT help at the start of the semester? The IT Help Desk will be available to assist students, faculty and staff from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday, Jan. 16-19, at the following locations:

The Main Cafe in the ARC Building resumes normal hours on Monday, Jan. 16.
