LCCC Welcomes Students for Fall Semester

Beginning July 6, Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) will welcome students at all campuses for in person services. Students can meet in person with representatives in a variety of student services; no screening is required. In addition, LCCC’s main campus Rothrock Library will be open to the community.
Masks will no longer be required after June 28 or when 70 percent of Pennsylvanians are fully vaccinated, whichever comes first.
Prospective students can meet in person with staff in testing, advising, admissions and financial aid. Staff members are available at the main campus in Schnecksville, as well as the sites in Tamaqua and Allentown.
Registration is currently ongoing for LCCC’s second five-week session which begins July 6, as well as registration for the fall semester. Fall session classes begin Aug. 21 and are offered online, remotely and face-to-face at campuses in Schnecksville, Allentown and Tamaqua, as well as aviation courses at the Lehigh Valley International Airport.
Tuition and fees are $170 per credit for students from one of LCCC’s sponsoring school districts and $301 per credit for other Pennsylvania residents. Schuylkill County residents pay $240 a credit, and out-of-state or foreign students pay $432 a credit. Tuition and fees for the fall are due July 7 or at the time of registration. Payment for the summer session is due at the time of registration.

Those seeking a degree must complete a placement test, or meet requirements for exemption, and meet with an advisor before registering for classes. Students can pay online or in person at the Business Office in Schnecksville, as well as sites in Tamaqua and Allentown.
New Student Convocation and Parent and Family Orientation sessions will remain virtual. Both are being offered on Friday, Aug. 13. Dates and times are as follows:
