LCCC Holds Info Session for Computer Science/IT Programs

Students interested in computer science and information technology will have an opportunity to learn about their educational and career options at an information session at Lehigh Carbon Community College. Prospective students and their families are invited to the in-person session scheduled for 3-5 p.m., Thursday, May 26, in room 201 of the Community Services Center on the Schnecksville campus.
The session will be led by faculty and members of the admissions team. This information session will highlight the college’s Computer Science and Information Technology degrees with an in-depth look into the following programs:
Cisco CCNA Diploma
Computer Forensics and Digital Security
Computer Game and Simulation Development Programming Track
Computer Information Systems
Computer Science
Computer Specialist – Networking Technology and Security
Computer Specialist – Programming Concentration
Computer Specialist Web Design and Development
Students will learn about the requirements of the programs, the kinds of classes they will take and the different career options that would be open to them with each of the majors. The session will conclude with an optional full campus tour.
