LCCC Helping Students Improve Their English with Spring 2019 classes

Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) is offering courses to help students improve their English speaking skills. The following English as a Second Language (ESL) classes are held at LCCC’s Donley Center on Hamilton Street in Allentown, Pa. All levels offer a daytime class held 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. or an evening course from 6 to 9 p.m. The fee for each course is $168.
 
ESL 1 course teaches beginner and low intermediate students. Classes are held Tuesdays and Thursdays on the following dates:
 
Jan. 15 through Feb. 28; March 5 through April 18; and April 30 through June 13
 
A second level course, ESL 2, is for high-intermediate to advanced ESL students. The following classes are held Mondays and Wednesdays.
 
Jan. 14 through Feb. 27; March 4 through April 17; and April 29 through June 12
 
In addition, individuals can improve speaking for shopping, visiting the doctor, using the telephone or to communicate with co-workers and supervisors. Speaking Skills/ESL will be held Saturday, Feb. 2 through May 4, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for a fee of $168.
