LCCC Aviation Students Get Conditional Job Offers with ExpressJet

Four Lehigh Carbon Community College students finished the Fall 2017 semester with conditional job offers after ExpressJet Airlines recruiters visited the department.
During the two-day visit earlier in the semester, the recruiters interviewed the four students: Clarissa Clement, Michael Lubic, Robert Sacco and Mathew Schmidt.

LCCC and ExpressJet signed a Pilot Pathway Agreement last year that established career opportunities for LCCC graduates. Under the terms of the agreement, students who complete their instrument rating are guaranteed an interview for conditional employment by the airline.

There is currently a strong demand for pilots, both domestically and globally, and LCCC is positioned with an excellent and affordable flight training program that prepares safe and qualified pilots. LCCC looks forward to continuing the partnership with ExpressJet, along with other future opportunities to help graduates begin their careers in commercial aviation.
