ANNOUNCING: Scholarships totaling $400,000 to LCCC for Lehigh County residents, provided by the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office and the LCCC Promise Program.

The District Attorney Career Pathway Scholarship, a $150,000 initiative, established by Lehigh County District Attorney Gavin Holihan, provides a transformative opportunity for Lehigh County residents who have faced personal hardships or incarceration due to opioid use. Funded through opioid remediation efforts, this program covers 100% of tuition, course, fees, and testing or licensing expenses for credit and non-credit workforce certifications, GED, or ESL programs at LCCC. To be eligible, students must have a history of opioid use disorder and receive a formal referral through the Promise Neighborhoods of Lehigh Valley, the Lehigh Valley Intake Unit, or Treatment Trends, Inc. By removing financial barriers and integrating community-based support, this scholarship empowers participants to gain skills and credentials necessary to secure meaningful employment and a stable future.

Lehigh County residents seeking to advance their careers through LCCC can now apply for the Promise Program Workforce Scholarship, a $250,000 initiative designed to support enrollment in workforce and noncredit programs. Qualifications apply, along with the determination of financial need. This scholarship is available year-round and can cover up to 100% of total course costs. Applications are processed on a rolling basis.
