The RE@L Scholars Program (Research Experience at Lehigh University) is a partnership between LCCC and Lehigh University. This program aims to provide graduate level research opportunities to selected STEM students at LCCC granting access to advanced scientific research. Students must apply for and be accepted into this program. As part of this program, accepted LCCC students travel to Lehigh University on a weekly basis for one semester to work in a graduate level research lab under the direction of Lehigh University faculty and graduate student mentors making meaningful contributions to cutting edge research in their selected field of study. Upon completion of the Research Experience at Lehigh University, LCCC students are awarded Honors level LCCC course credit. Research opportunities vary by semester based on availability and is available in the spring semester.

Requirements:

Current LCCC students majoring in a STEM field (science, technology, mathematics, engineering)

GPA above 3.0 and completion of at least 30 credits at LCCC

Letter of Recommendation from LCCC STEM faculty member

Successful completion of any pre-requisite courses (as determined by Lehigh University faculty)

Ability to travel independently to/from Lehigh University
