Leading Through Crisis Certificate Program

Learn skills to help you lead through a diverse set of challenges.   Maintain normalcy and build resilience while maintaining a realistic approach to success in the workplace.  

Four unique virtual modules will be offered weekly in a web-based format, allowing for conversation in a collaborative learning environment. 
 
Course Modules

Emotional Intelligence
Learn how to avoid self-sabotaging outcomes by altering how you perceive and respond to emotionally-charged situations. In addition, you’ll improve your ability to resolve conflict constructively, create a productive work environment, build and mend relationships, and bounce back from setbacks and disappointment.
 
Managing Emotions
This course provides the tools needed to recognize your emotional triggers, control your emotional and physical responses, and handle other’s emotions. As a result, you will be able to communicate more effectively with supervisors and coworkers, be able to channel negative energy into more positive and productive activities, and will promote your overall emotional intelligence.
 
Building a Respectful Workplace
Building a Respectful Workplace is designed to help employees consistently demonstrate respect in their day-to-day interactions. Participants learn the behaviors that contribute to a respectful environment. They will learn how to establish self-respect, develop reciprocity with colleagues, and maintain respect when faced with stress, uncertainty, and change.
 
Leading Through Change
Leading others through change successfully requires thoughtful planning and innovative options. This course will provide you with a clearer understanding of what happens to people when an organizational change initiative occurs. It also introduces the tools and techniques you can use to more effectively lead change efforts in your organization, ultimately allowing you to leave the course feeling better prepared to address the myriad of changes that come your way.
