Governor Tom Wolf and the COVID-19 Vaccine Joint Task Force today announced that several mitigation orders for Pennsylvania will be lifted on Monday, May 31. The only exception is the order to wear a mask in public, which will be lifted when 70 percent of Pennsylvanians age 18 and older are fully vaccinated. More details on wearing masks is available here
The decision will not impact the course schedule for summer or fall; however, as classes fill, the college will add more sections in formats that have proven to be more popular. Registration for both summer and fall semesters is currently ongoing.
Limitations on public gatherings are being lifted, but the college won’t host external events in any of its facilities at least through the fall.
Food service on the Schnecksville campus will be available beginning August 1, with the opening of the cafeteria and the Corner Café. There will be no social distancing requirement.
Temperature checking at the front entrance to the campus and sites will end on Friday, May 28.
Until further notice, continue to report COVID-19 cases or exposure to the virus to Donna Williams, Director of Human Resources, at 610-657-1877.
We will update the campus community as changes are announced, since the situation is still evolving.
