Computer Courses

This course for beginners provides overall information with minimal technical jargon.  It consists of learning to manage files using Windows accessories, and customizing Windows.  Begin working with Word, Excel and the Internet.  Instructor developed materials are included in price and available at class.  Course is broken into components. Take your skills, with the use of Excel, from very basic through intermediate user level.  Learn the basics then build formulas, use functions and work with charts created from spreadsheets.  Class format is 16 hours.  Text is included.

Students learn to work with 3-D cell reference, create formulas using the IF functions, use logical formulas and perform data analysis using the tools in Excel.  Text is included.

Students work with LOOKUP functions, PivotTables, macros, inserting and viewing comments, and how to protect your workbooks/worksheets.  Text is included.

Learn the basics: opening, saving, printing, and quitting documents. Design, create, edit, and enhance letters and reports. Develop paragraphs, adjust margins, create formatting, and utilize text selection.  Text is included.

Learn the basics of storytelling, composition and the proper use of flow and design to produce a professional PowerPoint presentation, all without using the built-in prompts.  This class will cover:  design, transitions/animations, presentation, power tips and more.  Text is included.
