Earn a Degree, Certificate or Diploma

EARN AN ASSOCIATE'S DEGREE, CERTIFICATE, DIPLOMA, OR COMPLETE A CREDIT PROGRAM

Follow these steps:

1.       Apply online here 

2.       Request official transcripts

Request an official, unopened copy of your high school and/or college transcript from the granting institution or submit a copy of an equivalency diploma (GED).  Ask that the transcripts be mailed to:

3.       Schedule a Placement Test

New students are required to complete a placement test in math, reading, and writing to determine which level class is the best fit.  In addition, some Selective Programs may require additional testing.***  Allied Health majors must take the biology placement test; chemistry and engineering majors must take the chemistry placement test.

Students may be exempt from testing based upon their SAT or PSSA test scores or by completing previous college credit.  Determine if you are exempt from the placement tests. If you have more questions regarding placement tests, please call 610-799-1854.


4.        Schedule an Orientation
All first time, freshman students for the Fall semester must register for an Orientation that includes Advisement and Registration.

5.       Cost of your Education

There are a number of ways to finance your education at Lehigh Carbon Community College. 

  • FINANCIAL AID: Please visit the financial aid page to learn more about filing for the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). 
  • PAYMENT PLAN:  The Business Office accepts check, cash, or credit card.  LCCC also offers a payment plan through the Business Office.  The payment plan allows students to pay their tuition in several installments throughout the semester.  Find more information on the Business Office page.   • SCHOLARSHIPS: LCCC offers a variety of scholarship opportunities to help fund your education.

Selective Programs are as followed: Associate Degree in Nursing, Practical Nursing Program Certificate, Physical Therapist Assistant, Occupational Therapy Assistant, and Veterinary Technician.
