Are you a Visiting Student?

Visiting students are students who are attending another institution full-time working towards a degree and only plan to attend LCCC for one semester. You usually take classes in the summer, but sometimes attend for a Fall or Spring term.

  • Letter from your home institution stating that you have met the pre-requisite or are eligible to enroll in the course you have selected.

You will also need to contact an LCCC Advisor to register. You can meet with an advisor on campus, or if you are away at school you can schedule a phone appointment. I'm not sure what I want to take - can you help?

Remember, the final decision on how the course will transfer back to your home institution is up to your home institution. Make sure you get approval before you take a course with us.

LCCC has many course equivalencies with four-year schools which can help you find an appropriate course. You may also meet with one of our Advisors to discuss your options. Simply contact us for an appointment - in person or by phone. To help us give you the best possible advice, we recommend that you bring a copy of your program requirements at your home school to your on campus appointment, or-email a copy to us before your phone appointment.

Transferring your credits back to your home school.

Once you have completed your course you will probably want a transcript to be sent to your home school. You can complete a transcript request form on campus, or click here to print the form.
