Transferring To LCCC


1. First apply to LCCC, see Online Application.To schedule an appointment to meet with an Admissions Representative please call 610-799-1575. Transcript evaluations may only begin once a student has applied and been accepted to LCCC. Evaluations will be based upon your declared major here at LCCC; only courses that apply to your major will be transferred.
Click here if you are a Visiting Student; a student currently attending another college who would like to take a course or two here at LCCC.

2. Submit official transcripts for each college attended and an official high school transcript or GED if you are applying to a restricted program of study. Have your college send official transcripts to Enrollment Services, 4525 Education Park Drive, Schnecksville, Pa. 18078.

Military Credits: Students who wish to utilize their military training must submit their official DD 214 and military transcript. For more information click here.

Foreign Credentials: Students who have credits from a foreign university must have their transcripts reviewed by a NACES accredited credential evalation service, such as WES, www.wes.org.

Prior Learning: Students wish to use standardized exams, challenge exams, on-the-job experience, professional workshops, technical and business schools, or volunteer programs as a way to earn college credit should click here.

3. Once all transcripts have been received, credits will be evaluated and, in a week to ten days, a notice will be sent in the mail as to which courses, if any, have transferred to LCCC. In order to register for classes, this notice must be brought with to your first advising appointment.

Transfer credits are only posted to your academic transcript after mid-term of your first semester in attendance at LCCC.

If you decide to change your major and feel more credits may transfer to your new major, please contact Enrollment Services, 610-799-1171 to request that your transcript be re-evaluated for your new major.

4. If there are courses you need that have pre-requisites and your transcript has not yet been evaluated, you MUST bring in an unofficial copy of your transcript to your first advising appointment for verification that all pre-requisites have been met. With verification, an advisor can sign the registration card for a class, pending receipt of official transcript.
