Cancellation Policy

If your class is cancelled, we will notify you as soon as possible. You may transfer to another section or class or receive a full refund. Cancellation of classes due to bad weather is announced on major local radio stations. If the college is closed, makeup dates will be arranged through the instructor.

Senior Citizen Policy

Citizens who are at least 60 years old and live in a sponsoring school district may be eligible for a 50% tuition discount. Conditions for reduced tuition are as follows:
  1. A senior citizen must show proof of age the first time he or she registers.
  2. Course must have sufficient enrollment of paying students.
  3. Enrollment for reduced tuition must not cause the class size to exceed enrollment limitations.
  4. Lab fees for consumable items must be paid by all students to the instructor at the first class. Required textbooks must be purchased by all students.
  5. This tuition policy does not apply to those noncredit courses in which the college incurs a cost per student or where so noted.
Senior citizen registration will take place on the day a course is scheduled to begin. A class scheduled to begin in the morning may be registered for on the previous evening. Also, a senior citizen electing to pay to guarantee a seat in class must pay full tuition.
