What:
LeadershipCarbon is an adult Leadership Development Program designed to cultivateleaders for the benefit of Carbon County's future.

When:
Leadership Carbon is a 9 month program and will meet on the first Wednesday of each month starting in September until May (Schedule).

Why:
Leadership Carbon was established due to a need in Carbon County to increase its leadership resources and capacity.

How will we accomplish this:

  • By identifying potential community leaders of diverse backgrounds;
  • By developing their potential for and encouraging their acceptance of civic responsibilities and leadership;
  • By exposing up and coming leaders to the structure, opportunities, and challenges in Carbon County
  • By opening significant dialogue among emerging and existing leaders;
  • By building a realistic understanding of leadership roles, including the problems and implications of leadership;
  • By assisting to place new leaders into local leadership roles.
