LCCC Welcomes New Alumni Board Member in Spring 2014
Lehigh Carbon Community College’s (LCCC) Alumni Association welcomed Pamela Fenstermacher of Allentown, Pa to their Board of Directors. A 2010 graduate of LCCC’s Early Education program of study, Fenstermacher also earned degrees in travel and business and a certificate in English as a Second Language. She has been employed for the past 14 years as a remedial aid teacher for the Parkland School District and previously as a travel agent, traveling extensively throughout the United States and the Caribbean.
Fenstermacher, who is married with two children, is a cancer survivor of eight years. Since her recovery, Pamela has been an advocate, supporter and mentor on behalf on this disease, and is a member of the Support of Survivors (S.O.S.) group. In addition to the many speaking engagements in and around the Lehigh Valley about cancer awareness and prevention, she takes time to talk with cancer patients and survivors and has spoken at LCCC’s Lights of Hope event.
The LCCC Alumni Association mission is to promote the general welfare and success of LCCC and its alumni. It is committed to furthering the development of LCCC by actively cultivating support and involvement from alumni, students, faculty, staff and the community.
