Cost of Attendance

For purposes of determining financial aid eligibility, students are placed within budget groupings depending on the student’s enrollment and whether the student is considered a sponsored or non-sponsored student.  For additional information on tuition and fees go to Tuition & Fees

Financial aid will add additional expenses as follows to make up a student’s financial aid budget.  The financial aid budget is used to determine the total amount of financial aid the student is eligible to receive.  All budge amounts are determined by Lehigh Carbon Community College. Budget elements are not based on student’s actually expenses and are non-negotiable.

  1. Room and Board (estimated on the amount of time spent in class) – maximum of $4,000
  2. Books and Supplies (as required by the classes a student is registered for) -  maximum of $2,000
  3. Transportation (to and from school only) -  maximum of $2,000
  4. Miscellaneous Expenses (expenses only related to education) – maximum of $1,200

Full year, full time, sponsoring school district

  • Tuition and fees -  $3,510
  • Room and board - $4,000
  • Books and supplies - $2,000
  • Transportation - $2,000
  • Miscellaneous - $1,200

Full year, full time, non-sponsoring school district (within Pennsylvania)

  • Tuition and fees - $6,780
  • Room and board - $4,000
  • Books and supplies - $2,000
  • Transportation - $2,000
  • Miscellaneous – $1,200

TOTAL - $15,980

Full year, full time out-of-state

  • Tuition and fees - $10,050
  • Room and board - $4,000
  • Books and supplies – $2,000
  • Transportation - $2,000
  • Miscellaneous - $1,200

Full year, full time Schuylkill County

  • Tuition and fees - $5,280
  • Room and borad - $4,000
