Lehigh Carbon Community College will be awarding Foundation scholarships to new or continuing students within Lehigh/Carbon/Schuylkill Counties who show academic promise and demonstrate community involvement. This scholarship is provided by the LCCC Foundation but administered by the College's Office of Financial Aid.
Scholarship amounts will be as follows:
- Students enrolled in 12 or more credits per semester may receive up to $1250 per academic year. Students must reapply each academic year. This scholarship is not automatically renewed. The scholarship will be awarded for the Fall and Spring semesters only.
- Part-time Students:
Students enrolled in 9 to 11 credits per semester may receive up to $937 per academic year. Students enrolled in 6-8 credits per semester may receive up to $625 per academic year. Students must reapply each academic year. This scholarship is not automatically renewed. The scholarship may be awarded for the Fall and Spring semesters only.
Eligible students must complete the following before May 15:
- Apply and be admitted to the College and enrolled in a degree or certificate program.
- Register for a minimum of six credits before July 1st..
- Complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by logging onto www.fafsa.ed.gov . The college code for Lehigh Carbon Community College is 006810.
- Complete and submit a Scholarship Application and submit it to the Office of Financial Aid at Main Campus.
- Provide an official transcript from the most recent marking period in high school or semester in college. Students must have maintained a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 through their most recent marking period or semester.
