Proctored Exams

Your instructor may choose to provide some or all of your quizzes and exams online. However, many instructors will require that some or all tests be proctored or monitored by an approved individual.

  • At the LCCC Testing Center on the Main Campus in the Academic Resource Center, Room ARC-100
    • Phone: 610-799-1124
    • Fall & Spring semesters
      Monday - Thursday: 7:30 am - 9:45 pm
      Friday: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
      Saturday: 8:30 am - 1:30pm
  • By an appropriate person near you IF you live outside the Lehigh Valley

If your instructor schedules a proctored exam on campus, you may take it at any time that the library is open during the availability period. For example, the instructor may schedule an exam to be taken between 8:00 a.m. on Monday morning until 9:45 p.m. on the next Wednesday night.

  • You may be limited to a specific length of time to take the exam, such as 60 minutes.
  • Instructors stipulate whether you may use your textbook or notes.
  • The proctor will require a photo I.D. (driver's license or LCCC I.D.) before they will give you the test.
  • Once you begin the exam, you may not leave the Testing Center until it is completed or the time limit expires.

If you live too far from campus to take the test on campus, you must work with your instructor to arrange for a proctor near you. Click on the links below for PDF files with more details and forms that you will need. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view these files.
