Lehigh Carbon Community College Main is located on a beautiful 153-acre campus in Schnecksville, PA.
The primary goal of the Veterinary Technician Department/Program is to provide training to students so that they may become competent veterinary nurses.
Our program provides both an academic foundation in veterinary science with opportunity to develop hands on skills through laboratory experiences with a variety of animal species.
Our program is a joint program with Northampton Community College. Both campuses are used to educate our students. There is an animal facility located on the Schnecksville campus.
We have received full accreditation from the American Veterinary Medical Association. Graduates that wish to obtain certification as veterinary technicians must graduate from an accredited program and pass the National Board Examination. To date, we have a 95% pass rate on the national board examination. Our staff is well qualified and experienced in the field.
