Lehigh CCC Women Win PCAA State Championship
A historic season culminated with the ultimate prize for the Lehigh Carbon Community College women's basketball team on Saturday.
The LCCC women bombarded Westmoreland CCC, 82-46, to win the PCAA State Championship in front of their home fans at Berrier Hall.
The Cougars finish the year with a 20-1 overall record - the best record in school history.
Lehigh Carbon Community College's campus is anything but sleepy when it comes to athletics. Play in one of seven sports that compete in the Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference. LCCC may be a two-year college, but it certainly has the athletic buzz and energy of a large, four-year university.
