The college supports PC computers with XP operating systems in thecomputer classrooms and computer labs. Disability Support Servicessupports screen reader software ( JAWS, Kurzweil 3000, and Text Readand Write), screen magnification software (ZoomText), on-screenkeyboard (REACH), voice dictation software (Dragon Dictate NaturallyPreferred and Professional), c-print software, Braille translationsoftware (Duxbury), and graphic organizer software (Inspiration).
The college also supports closed circuit magnification equipment, FMassistive listening devices, Braille embosser, Alpha Smart wordprocessors, cassette tape recorders, various types of computer inputdevices (trackballs, alternative mice), voiced calculators, and voiceddictionary/thesaurus.
