Computer Specialist - Networking Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) Certificate
This program prepares students who are new to the industry or upgradingan existing skill set for jobs in the networking field. Graduates areeligible to take appropriate certification exams and can expect to workas entry-level network engineers, administrators, and helpdesktechnicians. The program has a problem based learning approach thatfocuses on the needed skills of design, implementation andtroubleshooting as applies to a variety of Microsoft implementations and platforms. Our hands-on philosophy starts with insuring basicunderstanding starting from the hardware level up. Students wishing toobtain certifications will gain a solid foundation in the materialcovered on the following exams:
Upon successful completion of this program, graduates will be able to:
- Apply critical thinking, team building, and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrate effective oral and written communication.
- Analyze network administration.
- Design, implement, and maintain a Microsoft Windows 2003 enviroment
- Troubleshoot personal computer hardware and software problems.
- Be prepared with appropriate study, to take the A+, Network+, and MCSA certifications exams.
Due to the advanced nature of this program, the time to complete for a full-time student is 18 months.
