Lehigh Carbon Community College Main is located on a beautiful 153-acre campus in Schnecksville, PA.
Graduates will be prepared to enter the Computer-Generated (CG) design field for both information services and interactive products companies. The skills and talents needed to create dynamic multimedia products infused with textual, visual, animation, and audio life are emphasized. CG interactive multimedia encompasses a large percentage of CG design that has become a cornerstone within the corporate, entertainment, and educational training markets. The program focuses on design fundamentals, development, and production of visually exciting interactive multimedia using industry standard authoring systems. The program is designed to provide students with the tools and experience needed to develop an extensive portfolio showcasing individual talents and skills. Graduates of this program are prepared for positions as multimedia artists, graphic artists or digital designers within the multimedia industry.
Programs in the Media and the Arts division share a common teaching philosophy: Provide students with the skills and knowledge required to develop innovative solutions to problem-based projects, intelligently interact with industry professionals, and elaborate on the history of the Digital Media industry relevant to selected areas of study.
Upon successful completion of this program, graduates will be able to:
