So you want to perform like a Pop Star?
This two-week (10 day) “camp” is designed to give vocal and instrumental students a major edge in all aspects of performing their music in front of an audience. Each student will concentrate on developing his/her musical skills through coaching and ensemble work during the first week of class. The second week concentrates on the basic language of the stage and recording studio, music theory, how to improvise music, and elements of stage presence. Any young person interested in developing his/her ability to audition, perform professionally, or become comfortable in front of an audience, will gain valuable skills guaranteed to improve his/her performance.
We invite all instrumental musicians or vocalists to attend who are entering 8th grade through 11th grade. Students will leave with a CD recording of their performance and receive the opportunity to display their new skills at a Musikfest performance.
Please call LVPA at 610-868-2971, and specify whether the student is a vocalist, instrumentalist, or both.
