Coaches switch roles.
Head Coach: (2nd year) Marge Beahm of Allentown has been named Head coach. Marge earned a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education from East Stroudsburg University, where she was a four year starter. She served as assistant basketball coach at Moravian College from 1997-2002. Presently, Marge is an adjunct professor at LCCC.
Natasha Pashchuk (2nd year) of Palmerton will serve as Assistant Women's Basketball Coach. Natasha earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education at Marywood University, where she was a four year starter and 1,000 point scorer.
The 2007-08 Lady Cougars had students from various schools in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas, even as far as Poland participating in the program. LCCC is a member of the EPCC, a very competitive community college league.
The flexibilty of the program allows for students with full class loads to participate in basketball. Anyone interested in playing , please contact Marge Beahm at mbeahm@lccc.edu
