Lehigh Carbon Community College's campus is anything but sleepy when it comes to athletics. Play in one of seven sports that compete in the Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference. Congratualtions to the 2008-09 Men's basketball team for winning the Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference (EPCC) League Championship. The cougars defeated cross town rival Northampton Community College on Saturday, Feburary 14 which qualified them to play in the championship game on Sunday, Feburary 15. LCCC defeated two time PCAA champions Community College of Philadelphia 80-72 to earn their first ever EPCC title. This victory qualifies the cougars for the PCAA State championship on Sunday Febuary 23 @ 2:00 pm against Community Collegeg of Beaver County.
