Associate Professor Wendy Barron has been involved in the video production industry for more than 20 years. While attending college, she served as a disc jockey and promotions director for WUSR-FM in Scranton, PA. Some areas of her professional experience include studio-based news and talk shows, music videos, industrial video, and multicamera live sports production, on the national and international level. Some of her credits include work on the XGames, Tour De France, NCAA Men's Final Four, and the Stanley Cup Playoffs. She has worked for various networks, including ESPN and NBC, both as staff and freelance, while living in Connecticut and New York City. Before returning to her roots in the Lehigh Valley, Associate Professor Barron was a staff producer at Outdoor Life Network (now Vs.). Prior to joining the faculty at LCCC, Wendy was the Supervisor of Media Services at KidsPeace where she produced videos and audio visual presentations for corporate and educational events. She also developed the video production curriculum and directed the daily morning newscast.

She earned her B.A. in Communication from University of Scranton, and her M.S. in Television/ Radio from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication at Syracuse University.

Steven Weitz is an animator and digital artist having worked on various animation, film, and television projects over his career. He has produced animations and visual effects for clients such as Walt Disney Studio Home Entertainment, ABC Network, The Sci Fi Channel, Mattel and Warner Bros, working on independent films, DVD games, and Emmy Award winning visual effects for original movies and television shows, including the hit shows Lost and Alias. He now serves as an Instructor of Media Arts at Lehigh Carbon Community College, teaching animation, digital arts, and game design.

He earned his B.F.A. and M.F.A. in Computer Art from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
