SIFE is a non-profit student run organization here at LCCC.
SIFE stands for Students in Free Enterprise and the organization has chapters at over 1,000 colleges worldwide.

SIFE main purpose is to organize community outreach projects outside the classroom. The projects address issues concerning free enterprise and give local community members the chance to improve their knowledge and practices. In addition, LCCC SIFE members exercise what they have learned in the classroom to reinforce their education. Students also gain hands on experience dealing with real world problems that cannot be learned in the typical classroom setting. Successful projects are then taken to regional, national, and international SIFE competitions for presentation, judging, and awards.
