Established in 1966, Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) is a comprehensive, two-year, publicly supported community college.

The college is accredited by the Middle States Association ofColleges and Secondary Schools and is sponsored by all nine school districts in Lehigh County and four of the five school districts inCarbon County. The mission of LCCC is "responding to the community byproviding affordable, accessible, and high quality education."
