Mary Ellen Roesch has begun pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Finance at Penn State University. APhi Theta Kappa member, she held the Leadership Chair for two years.

Sharon E. Vann is the HIT coordinator at Philadelphia Protestant Home.


Terrie Graczyk is an office manager at F.I. Smidth Airtech Inc., Bethlehem.

Tracy Stehman-Maalouf earned a B.A. in Art Education from Moravian College in 2004.


Nancy S. English and husband, Bob, welcomed a babyboy, Seth Bradley, into the family on April 5, 2004. Their 7-year oldson, Evan, is in second grade. Nancy works part time on amedical/surgical floor at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital inWellsboro, Tioga County.

Jennifer M. Johnstone married David C. Keich inJune 2004. She has been working as a paralegal at Riley and Fanelli,P.C., Pottsville, since August 2003.

Nicole Patterson-Virgo earned a Bachelor of Arts inPsychology at Lehigh University in May. She thanks LCCC's Dr. CarrieMyers for her support and for demanding excellence of students.


Jennifer Malloy is a police officer at Moravian College, where she is pursuing a bachelor's degree.


Carolyn Hoffman, LPN, is director of nursing at New Seasons assisted living facility in Allentown.

Lauren Mihalik married Joey Murante in June 2001and their son, Dylan, was born on July 1, 2003. She had been working as a physical therapist assistant at St. Luke's Rehabilitation Center,Wind Gap, since February 2002.


Tanya Bredbenner is a registered nurse at Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton.

Lydia Lesczyszyn is a hospital operator/medical secretary at Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown.

Robin Woodard is a medical clerk at Einstein Hospital, Philadelphia.


Mary Black is an academic advisor at Lehigh CarbonCommunity College. She earned a bachelor's degree in History at CedarCrest College in 2001 and a master's degree in History at EastStroudsburg University in 2002.

Christina J. Frey married Chris Schoemaker, Jr. in August 2004. She earned a B.A. in English at Penn State in 2001.


Mark Kemp and Lori Gallagher marriedin 1999 and reside in Pittsburgh. They have two children: Caleb, 2, andChloe, 11 months. Both graduates of LCCC's Physical Therapist Assistantprogram, Mark and Lori say "hello" to the Class of 1996.

Neal Smith founded Gizmo FX, a full-service specialeffects business in Orlando, Fla. It provides consulting, design,manufacturing, installation, stunts, and visual effects services.


Kristin Wyra is a physical therapist assistant at Comp Health in Grand Rapids, Michigan.


Stacey Silliman is communications manager at GiantFood Stores, Carlisle. She earned a BA in English/Journalism fromKutztown University in 1994 and an MS in Communications/Journalism fromShippensburg University in 2004.


Sharon (Dalessandro) Weiss is a project manager atPhiladelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She earned a bachelor'sdegree at Lafayette College in 1998 and is pursuing an MBA at TempleUniversity.


Paul V. Ihlenfeld is a senior tech supportspecialist at Temple University. He plans to complete an MS in MIS atTemple by December 2007. He traveled to the Philippines and China inthe summer of 2004 and to Belize, Guatemala in summber 2003.


Stephanie A. Phelps received a Bechelor of FineArts in Communication Design from Kutztown University in 1993. She islead graphic designer for the Residential Conservation ServicesGroup at Austin (Texas) Energy.


John F. Messerschmidt was awarded U.S. Patent No.6,787,116 in September 2004 for his inventive contribution to thedesign of overmolding inserts for heat exchanges, process formanufacturing the heat exchangers, and heat exchangers producedthereby.


Cindy Lehr Best is a physical therapist assistantat Normandie Ridge, York. In November 2004, she was appointed to thePennsylvania State Board of Physical Therapy on the recommendation ofthe state senate and Gov. Ed Rendell.


Carol A. Hottenstein is an instructional assistant at Dr. N.H. Jones Elementary School in Ocala, Fla.


Guy L. Lesser is chief of Lower Saucon Township Police Department. He earned a B.A. in Psychology at Lebanon Valley College.

Patricia Casciano Light earned an M.A. in Speech Pathology in 1986 and is a speech pathologist for the Pinnacle Hospital System in Harrisburg.


Scott E. Stein, a practice administrator/physicianassistant at Primary Care Associates, Allentown, has earned a B.A. inSociology/Psychology and a Physician Assistant M.S.


Joan Balla is a trainer with American Red Cross,Bethlehem. She received a bachelor's degree (dual major in Chemistryand Education) at Muhlenberg College in 1980 and a master's degree inEducation (science) at Temple University in 1983.

Patricia Balthaser lives in Tampa, Fla., and is a Systems Engineer 2 for Unisys Corp.


Barbara Bearish continued her education, earning aB.S. in Speech Pathology/Audiology from East Stroudsburg University andan M.S. in Educational Technology at Lehigh University.

Michael Stump, JD, President of the LCCC Class of1973, is back in the area after 31 years in government service. Hepractices law in Macungie and is teaching at LCCC in the evenings. Heretired from the U.S. Army JAG Corps in 2000.
