WXLV, the licensed radio station of Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) is proud to introduce a new morning show Chance and Dawn in the Morning. Launched on Monday July 14th, Chance Austin and Dawn Warner, veteran broadcasters at WXLV, lead listeners on a daily 6-9AM trip through Americana and Roots music.

This announcement also involves the move from NPR morning programming provided in partnership with WDIY, 88.1FM in the Lehigh Valley. This arrangement, a management agreement between the station licensees, Lehigh Carbon Community College and the Lehigh Valley Community Broadcasters Association, will be terminated in August 2008.

WXLV's new team includes bad boy, Chance Austin and the sultry voiced Dawn Warner. Austin, a long time Americana music programmer, is known for his quick witted and fun spirited sense of humor. Warner is the host of XLV's very popular Sunday show the Country Brunch.

"Since the beginning of my show The Country Brunch, besides stating how much they love our music, my listeners appreciate our commercial free programming," said Dawn. "Now I'm thrilled to be able to bring these two things to the morning."

States Chance Austin, "It's a dream come true, being able to put together a morning show that will introduce the listener in the Lehigh Valley to the music I love that will keep them in the parking lot in anticipation of the next song." The show will play the best in Roots based Classic Rock, Americana, Blues and Country with a new perspective. "We simply play great music with energy and a vibe. Give us one morning and you'll be hooked" says Dawn and Chance.

WXLV, a non commercial station, is licensed to Lehigh Carbon Community College and operates 90.3FM and steams worldwide at wxlv.org. WXLV is the Flagship station of the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs Radio Network. .
