About LCCC
Lehigh Carbon Community College will offer the following noncredit CPR basic life support classes over the next several months. All classes are held at LCCC's main campus in Schnecksville unless noted otherwise. Course completion cards are valid for two years for the following CPR classes.

Location: Carbon Center, 24 E. Locust Street, Nesquehoning
This course is appropriate for individuals who are healthcare providers, professional rescuers, lifeguards or allied health students and teaches the knowledge and skills covered in the Heartsaver Plus Course. It includes adult and pediatric CPR and barrier mask usage. Text is included.
BLS-CPR Recertification/Healthcare Provider (Adult, Child, Infant Victims)

This course is a knowledge/skills testing session limited to current knowledge/skills updates. Students must hold current CPR certification at Healthcare Provider level or equivalent.
Basic First Aid

Learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of injuries and sudden illness and how to deal with emergencies like bleeding, shock, burns, strains, fractures, allergic reactions, diabetic, and seizures.
The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge of and proficiency in CPR and has developed instructional material for this purpose. Although this course is not sponsored by any AHA component, some or all materials utilized by faculty or students may be Heart Association materials supplied on a cost basis. Any fees charged for this course do not represent income to the Association.
