The general public is invited to the Fourth Annual CDL Job Fair 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, August 16, at Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC), Route 309, Schnecksville. Admission and parking are free.

Whether you're an experienced CDL driver or considering it as a new career, this event will provide all the information you need about the transportation industry. You will have the opportunity to do the following:

* speak to a number of local and national employers about current employment opportunities;

* speak with CDL instructors/examiners about training;

* speak to LCCC admissions personnel about qualifications for a one-month training program; and

* speak with Program Director about Federal Grants that may be available for assistance with tuition.
